Parking

Does the MECC offer sufficient parking facilities?

MECC Maastricht has plenty of parking areas around the building. During the Christmas concerts a fixed parking rate of €19 applies. Don’t feel like waiting unnecessarily long after visiting an event? Then pay for your parking ticket online in advance via https://parking.mecc.nl.

What does a parking pass cost?

A fixed parking rate of €19,- applies during the concerts. Don’t feel like waiting unnecessarily long after visiting an event? Then pay for your parking ticket online in advance via https://parking.mecc.nl.

We represent a tour coach operator; where can we park our vehicles?

Coaches can park in P4 in front of the main entrance. You do not need to reserve a parking space in advance. The parking fee for coaches is €65 per concert.

Where are the disabled parking spaces located?

P3 (at approximately 80 meters from the main entrance) offers 70 disabled parking spaces. You do however need to have a disabled parking pass to use these parking spaces to avoid getting fined. Traffic controllers are present to direct you to the correct parking space.

Is it possible to cancel my parking ticket?

It is possible to cancel your parking ticket. If you decide to cancel a placed order, we charge a €2 cancellation fee. Please send an email to info@mecc.nl.

Reachability and accessibility

I would like to travel by public transport. How do I get to the MECC?

The Maastricht-Randwyck train station is 250 metres from MECC Maastricht, and is connected to an international rail network. There are also regular connections to Maastricht Central Station which is part of the (inter)national rail network. Plan your trip using the 9292 app.

Can I bring my walking frame with me into the auditorium?

You may bring your walker into the auditorium, but you will need to leave it in the wheelchair/walker area during the concert. We have staff on-site who can assist with this.

Where can I leave my wheelchair?

Customers with a wheelchair ticket can sit in the special wheelchair section. Customers without wheelchair tickets who come to the venue with a wheelchair are allowed to proceed to their seat with the wheelchair, but it must be stowed in the wheelchair/rollator area during the concert. We have staff on-site who can assist with this.

What time do the doors open?

The doors of the main entrance open 2.5 hours before the show starts.

Miscellaneous

What material are the chairs made of?

All seats are plastic chairs.

Does the venue offer tiered seating so that I will have adequate visibility?

There are floor seats (sections 1 to 8) and grandstand seats (other sections), but every seat offers a good view of the stage. In other words, your view will not be obstructed. There are also large screens on both sides of the stage.

How long does the Christmas concert last?

The Christmas concert lasts 3 hours with a 20-minute break.

Can I also pay in cash?

During the event, tokens can be purchased for the catering services. These can be paid for with a debit card or cash.
