Corona regulations for events according the press conference of 9 July 2021

Events with assigned seating or standing room will be allowed from 10 July
Assigned seats or standing room will apply to one-day events so that everyone can keep 1.5 metres distance. Events without assigned seating are not allowed until at least 14 August (with the exception of locations with a continuous flow of visitors). 

Rules for one-day events with Covid entry passes (events without an overnight stay):

  • A maximum of two-thirds of the available capacity of visitors is allowed.
  • 1.5-metre distancing rule is not mandatory.
  • An assigned seat or standing room is required.
  • Event visitors 13 years of age and older must present a Covid entry pass at the entrance. They will only be allowed to enter with a valid entry pass.
  • The event must be held at a closed location (indoors or outdoors).
  • There must be a controlled entry and exit of visitors.
  • Registration and health check are required (the health check is performed in the four hours prior to the event).
  • Employees and volunteers are urgently advised to take a self-test beforehand.
  • In the event of (mild) symptoms after the event, visitors, employees and volunteers are urgently advised to get tested at the GGD (Public Health Service).
  • Events remain subject to local regulations, such as permits from the municipality.

Rules for one-day events not requiring Covid entry passes: 

  • 1.5-metre distancing rule is mandatory. The organiser must ensure that this is possible.
  • An assigned seat or standing room is required.
  • Hygiene measures must be taken. 
  • Registration and health check are required (the health check is performed in the four hours prior to the event).
  • Events remain subject to local regulations, such as permits from the municipality.

Rules for locations with a continuous flow of visitors (trade shows & public fairs):
There is no change to the rules for locations with a continuous flow of visitors, such as trade shows and public fairs.

  • 1.5-metre distancing rule is mandatory. The organiser must ensure that this is possible.
  • Hygiene measures must be taken.
  • A maximum capacity of 1 visitor per 5m2 applies.

Multi-day events (with the exception of locations with a continuous flow of visitors): 
Multi-day events (those that include an overnight stay), are not possible at this time and this will remain the case until at least 14 August. 

A new press conference will be held around 13 August. We will keep you updated of the measures that will be in force after 13 August 2021.
