Commemoration of Jesus’ Death
Jehovah’s Witnesses commemorate the death of Jesus, as he instructed his followers (Luke 22:19).
Who can attend?
Everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring your family.
How long does the program last?.
The commemoration lasts approximately one hour.
Is there an entrance fee? Am I obligated to anything?
No.
Are collections held?
No. We never take collections at our meetings.
Is there a dress code?
No, but Jehovah’s Witnesses strive to dress modestly and respectfully.
What does the commemoration look like?
The gathering begins and ends with a song and a prayer led by an elder. There is also a talk about the significance of Jesus’ death and how we can benefit from what God and Christ have done for us.
