OXFORD – The hobbits are coming! The musical world of hobbits and elves from J.R.R.

Tolkien’s “Lord of The Rings” and “The Hobbit” will be performed in a unique concert by a film orchestra, choir and star soloists. The two-hour performance features an original star guest and the best music from the films, in a spectrum ranging from the menacing sounds of Mordor and the shrill attack of the black horsemen to the beautiful lyrical melodies of the elves.

The Orchestra and Choir of The Shire has performed in the world’s leading concert halls, from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to the Konzerthaus in Vienna. It works closely with European state orchestras.
